Nicole ?Snooki? Polizzi spent her Sunday coddling her newborn baby boy and showing him off to an entourage of family and friends in a New Jersey maternity ward.
We previously reported that Snooki gave birth to Lorenzo Dominic LaValle at 3am Sunday at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Little Lorenzo weighed in at 6 pounds, 5 ounces and shares the same birthday as Mother Teresa and Home Alone?s Macaulay Culkin. Snooki took to Twitter to announce Lorenzo?s arrival to some 5.5 million followers, announcing that she, fianc? Jionni LaValle, and Lorenzo were all doing well.
?Jionni is such a cute dad,? Snooki tweeted.
Snooki?s parents, Helen and Andy Polizzi, were present for Lorenzo?s birth, as well as Jersey Shore co-star Jenni ?JWoww? Farley.
?So happy for Snooks and Jionni and the newest addition to our shore family, Baby Lorenzo!? Snooki?s former Jersey Shore co-star Pauly D told NY Daily. ?Uncle Pauly is ready to teach that li?l dude how to deejay. I think I may need to remix him his own lullaby.?
Snooki also incited a bit of controversy over the birth of Lorenzo, offending the mother of a woman in a high-risk delivery on the same floor. ?They took over the whole floor. They were obnoxious,? the expectant grandmother said of Snooki?s entourage. She also said that most of the expectant mothers were moved from the floor to make room for Snooki. ?It was so disrespectful,? she said. ?Why does she [Snooki] matter more than our daughter??
Because she?s on TV. Duh!
